Summer

During the summer season in Big Bear, the sun shines brightly on the mountains and trees, turning the ski resorts into a bike terrain for adventurers. The lake warms up and is ripe for boating and relaxation in the water.

Spring

In this second seasonal landscape documentary I'm planning for Big Bear Lake, soar high above the lake and forests and see the last remaining snow before it melts away from coming Spring months. Witness the sun slowly warming the mountains, giving way to a lush green land, hibernating during the winter season.

Winter

Journey on an aerial perspective of this icy lake of Big Bear. See the textures of the frozen landscape with footsteps, scattered on the snow below. Relax as you soar through the frosty cold sky with the music from Explosions in the Sky.

Bearly Home is a perfect escape for relaxation and quality family time. The cabin is a cozy, clean and wonderfully high tech. Its location is far enough for escaping the urban city yet close to still have amenities from home. We have lodged there twice and are planning our next trip. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and the first time we were four and fit perfectly. The second time we had two more bodies and we still slept comfortably. The location is perfect because it is near to so many snow attractions; tubing, sledding and skiing just to name a few.

The cabin was easy to find and the host's directions were so perfect that we had no problems getting into the house. It is only 2 hours away from Orange County and the scenery is amazing. The fresh air and being outdoors makes the Bearly Home the ideal place to recharge and experience tranquility during any season. Thank you David and Steven for allowing us to borrow your beautiful cabin.

I've been to the Bearly Home Cabin twice now and thoroughly enjoyed both trips. The cabin is full of high tech goodness while still providing that cozy comfortable feeling. It pretty much has everything required for that destination style getaway you crave. Close to downtown Big Bear which means access to many great dining, shopping and entertainment destinations. Also close to ski resorts and obviously Big Bear Lake. If you have any urge to travel to the mountains then you might as well do it in style...Big Bear style.

We stayed at the enchanted Bearly Home for a Christmas getaway. The cabin is super inviting, clean, and well-stocked with a nice selection of movies. It's also very conveniently located near a nice brewery, restaurants, and the ski resorts. We also got some snowfall so it was truly a fun mountain adventure! Highly recommended!

My husband and I and our two boys, ages 9 and 1, stayed for one night, but wish we'd stayed longer. Well, according to our 9 year old son, he wish we could stay there forever. Modern conveniences in a lovely setting.

The cabin is very comfortable and warm, quite spacious and fully equipped with technology, a flat screen T.V. in every room. It is fashioned with all the cute woodsy decorations. This property is very easy to find, short distance to the village and everything is close by.

Bearly Home is anything but bare. We will definitely come back. I highly recommended!!

Bearly Home is a fantastic place to stay in Big Bear. The place is very cozy and has wonderful amenities. There is a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal. The fridge is plenty big and there's even a washer and dryer to do laundry! The recliners in the living room make it really comfortable to watch TV or movies. Of course we had to watch The Hobbit while we were up there haha. It has everything a tech junkie could want. Fast WiFi, huge tvs in the living room and master bedroom, surround sound, ps3, apple tv, and the new Amazon Alexa app. We stayed in the guest bedroom which has bunk beds. Perfect for the kids! The bottom bed is large enough to sleep 2 if you squeeze in. In the bathroom the hot water turns on instantly (a pleasant surprise) and the shower is really nice with great water pressure.

The best part is the location. The location alone makes it worth the price of admission for me. It's so close to Big Bear Lake if you want to adventure on the water. The Village is like the downtown main street area, and it's not even a 5 min drive from the cabin! There's a lot of cool stores and restaurants there for your enjoyment. There's also a ski lift right before you get to The Village.

I look forward to going back when there's snow. The air is fresh, the clouds look amazing, and the leaves are so colorful. There's so much to explore up there I can't wait to go back!
